Global business should promote universal globalization
When I was first approached to become chairman ofthe International Chamber of Commerce, I envisagedmy tenure as the head of the world’s largestbusiness organisation unfolding in a very differentpolitical context to the one we face now.
I have been struck over the past year by the slowness of the global business community’sresponse to the twin threats of populism and protectionism. This cannot continue. I see threeprincipal priorities for action.
